The Gossip !

പരദൂഷണം

A person repeated a bit of gossip about a neighbor.

ഒരാള്‍ തന്‍റെ അയല്‍വാസിയേക്കുറിച്ചു ചെറിയൊരു ദൂഷണം പറയുന്നു..

Within a few days the whole community knew the story.

അല്‍പ്പ ദിവസങ്ങള്‍ക്കകം, നാടാകെ അത് പാട്ടായി..!

The person it concerned was, deeply hurt and offended.

ദൂഷണം പറയപ്പെട്ട 'നിരപരാധി' വല്ലാതെ വിഷമിച്ചു, പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു!

Later the person responsible , for spreading the rumor...

അവസാനം പരദൂഷണം നടത്തിയവന് ബോദ്ധ്യമായി ...

learned that it was completely untrue !!!
താന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു പരത്തിയത് മുഴുക്കെ കളവായിരുന്നു എന്ന്!!!

The person was very sorry...
താന്‍ ചെയ്തതില്‍ അയാള്‍ അതിയായി ദുഖിച്ചു..

And went to a wise old man to get some advice and find out what could be done to repair the damage!
ഒരു കാരണവരുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ പോയി താന്‍ ചെയ്തതിനു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഉപദേശമാരാഞ്ഞു..


"Go to the marketplace," the wise old man said, "and purchase chicken feathers . Then on your way home, pluck its feathers and drop them one by one along the road."
"നീ ചന്തയില്‍ പോവുക" അദ്ദേഹം ഉപദേശിച്ചു, "എന്നിട്ട് കോഴി തൂവലുകള്‍ വാങ്ങുക. എന്നിട്ട് നിന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയില്‍ അവ ഓരോന്നായി നീ വിതറുക"


Although surprised by this advice, the person did what was told to do.
ഉപദേശം കേട്ട് ആശ്ച്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും, അദ്ദേഹം തന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞ പ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു..

The next day the wise man said, "Now go and collect all those feathers you dropped yesterday and bring them back to me."
അടുത്ത ദിവസം കാരണവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു "ഇനി പോയി ഇന്നലെ പറിച്ചു പരത്തിയ തൂവലുകള്‍ പെറുക്കി കൊണ്ട് വരാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു"

The person followed the same road, but unfortunately,the wind had blown the feathers away. After searching for hours; returned with only one feather!
അദ്ദേഹം ആ റോഡ്‌ മുഴുവന്‍ അരിച്ചു പെറുക്കി, പറിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞ തൂവലുകള്‍ കാറ്റിനു പാറിപ്പോയിരുന്നു. ധാരാളം സമയം ചെലവഴിച്ചിട്ടും ഒരൊറ്റ തൂവല്‍ മാത്രമാണ് കിട്ടിയത്!

"You see,"said the old man,"it's easy to drop them,
but it's impossible to get them back.
കാരണവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: "നോക്കൂ.."
"ആ തൂവലുകള്‍ പറിച്ചെറിയാന്‍ എത്ര എളുപ്പം! എന്നാല്‍ തിരിച്ചെടുക്കാനോ, വളരെ പ്രയാസം "
So it is with gossip !
അതുപോലെയാണ് 'പരദൂഷണം' !
It doesn't take much to spread a rumor ,
പരദൂഷണം പരത്താന്‍ അധികം പ്രയാസമില്ല,
But once you do, you can never completely undo the wrong

."
പക്ഷെ ഒരിക്കല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ പരദൂഷണം പറഞ്ഞു കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍.. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊരിക്കലും അത് തിരുത്താന്‍ സാധിക്കില്ല..

Prophet Muhammad said :"Do you know what backbiting is?" They said, "God and His Messenger know best." He then said, "It is to say something about your brother that he would dislike." Someone asked him, "But what if what I say is true?" The Messenger of God said, "If what you say about him is true, you are backbiting him , but if it is not true then you have slandered him." (Muslim)
പ്രവാചകന്‍ (സ) ചോദിച്ചു: "പരദൂഷണം എന്താണെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കറിയുമോ?"
അനുയായികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: "അല്ലാഹുവിനും അവന്‍റെ ദൂതനുമാണ് അത് നന്നായറിയുക" . പ്രവാചകന്‍ തുടര്‍ന്നു പറഞ്ഞു: "നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവനിഷ്ടപ്പെടാത്ത എന്തെങ്കിലും പറയലാണ് അത്"
അവരിലൊരാള്‍ ചോദിച്ചു: "ഞങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് സത്യമാണെങ്കിലോ?"
പ്രവാചകന്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു: "നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യമാണ് പറഞ്ഞതെങ്കില്‍ അവനെക്കുരിച്ച്ചു 'പരദൂഷണം' പറഞ്ഞു; ഇനി ഇല്ലാത്തതാണ് പറഞ്ഞതെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞു"

O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions; indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allâh . Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives
and accepts repentance, Most Merciful.
Quran 49:12

" Roots need to be fixed perfectly "

There was a man who owned a bunch of horses, and one day one of the horses kicked a wood fence and scraped his leg badly.

The owner took the horse to his barn, cleaned the wound, and bandaged the animal's leg.

A few weeks later, the man noticed that the horse was still bothered by that bruise.

The owner called a veterinarian to come examine the horse.

After checking the animal, the vet prescribed some antibiotics.

Almost immediately, the horse responded positively to the medication and began to do much better.

A month or two went by, however, and the owner noticed that the injury still had not healed; it actually appeared to be worse than before.

So the vet put the horse back on antibiotics.

Once again the animal responded and was fine for few weeks, but then the process repeated itself.

Finally, the owner loaded up the horse and took him down to the veterinarian's clinic.

The vet put the horse under anesthesia and began to probe the injured leg.

Once he got deep enough, the vet discovered a large silver of wood that had gone far below the skin when the horse had hit the fence.

The vet realized that every time the horse went off the antibiotic, the infection caused by the foreign object returned.

They had been treating the symptoms rather than treating the true source of the horse's pain.

We fix the surface things.

Only as you get to the root and start dealing with the source of the problem, positive changes can be expected realistically.

As long as people have bad root, they're going to continue to produce the wrong kind of fruit.

We are children of God, so we have the greatest power in the universe, inside of us.

We must get down to the root, so we don't go through life trying to pick off the bad fruit.

Take responsibility.

A shocking episode that happened last month (13th May 2011) in Pune.
This may be a good, useful lesson in safety for all of us to remember.
The gas stove was on, cooking under process. The lady observed some
cockroaches near the sink and grabbed a can of insect repellent and
sprayed it... near the gas stove, which was on/burning. There was an
explosion and in no time the poor woman was covered in flames,
sustained 65% burns. Her husband rushed in, tried to douse the flames
and his clothes too caught fire. The husband is still in hospital, in
the burns ward, still unaware that his wife has succumbed, dead on
arrival.

The insect repellents such as "Hit", "Mortein" etc. are inflammable,
since its the nano-particles spread extremely rapid.
Please BEWARE OF THE SAME !Don't use any spray items,while the burner is on in the kitchen.

The power look:
One basic rule is that the more formally you are dressed, the more powerful you appear. For instance, try blue pinstripe suit, with a white French cuff shirt and a woven silk tie. Take a page out of the presidential candidates on this one. When they want to look like solid citizens to rest of us solid citizens they go with a blue suit and a white shirt and a red tie. Is it any wonder that we recommended wearing that on your first job interview?

Authoritative.
If you want to look like one of the “suits” you have to wear one. Take a look at your superiors: What do they wear? Pinstripes? Double-breasted suits? French cuff shirts? Remember, management always looks a little stiff, a little too proper, so don’t overdo it.

Creative:
In creative fields such as publishing, advertising, media dress codes are notoriously relaxed (unless your job requires that you be on camera a lot). So how do you look creative when you are supposed to be creative? Well, black usually does the trick. A black suit, a black sweater with a white T-shirt underneath, black shoes. It shows everyone that you can look professional and still maintain your personality.

Independent:
Every man wants to be his own man, and looking independent is a part of that. The key is finding a way to do it without looking unprofessional. Wearing jeans to the office would not be a good approach. But always wearing a cowboy belt might be.
Yes, it’s a bit eccentric but if you can stand a little criticism, soon enough it will become your trademark. Here’s a range of similar ways to express independence Bow Ties, Checked shirts, Turtle necks, monogrammed shirts, cowboy boots, a leather jacket .The point is you can exert your independence in many ways by being dandyish or rugged, bohemian or preppy just as long as you look professional first.

Friendly:
If your image is a bit aloof, you need to warm it up. No one wants to work with someone who seems distant (what is he hiding?) or superior to them especially if you’re not. So what will make you look more friendly? You have to know your audience. If you’re a white collar guy trying to make a good impression on a blue collar crowd then a button-down oxford shirt and tie, with the jacket off and the sleeves rolled up will make you seem to be a man of the people if you appear too threatening to women, a bow tie actually declaws most men possibly because there’s almost nothing that’s as asexual as a bow tie. Can you loosen up in your office? Try dressing business appropriate. Wear a sport jacket with a shirt and no tie. You will look approachable. Bring color also work wonders. A bright tie will seem cheerful, whereas something dark can often seem funereal. Oh, and would it kill you to smile every once in a white?

Organized:
If your appearance is neat and tidy and that includes your desk and/or office people will assume that you are organized. Even if it means sweeping all that junk into your desk, do it. No one has to know what you look like on the inside. As for clothing,
It wouldn’t hurt to be a little fastidious. Keep your pants creased, your shoes polished, and your shirts pressed. Your ties should always be knotted to the top. And make sure your watch is set five minutes ahead.

Affluent:
Sad, but true, some people do judge a look by its cover. If you want to invest in two areas that can make you seem like you’re packing a big portfolio, splurge on a good pair of shoes and a nice watch. The shoes you can’t really skimp on you don’t need to spend $1,000 but $200 is about right but a watch doesn’t need to cost more than $100 to look expensive. These days, Timex, Swatch, Fossil, and other manufacturers put enough bells and whistles on their timepieces that you can fool almost anyone.
